Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: What geographical area do you cover with your service?
A: We can cover the islands off of the mid-coast area, south to Topsham, west to Dresden, and North to Waldoboro or beyond depending on the job. Please do call us and we will try our best to work with you.
Q: Who determines the needed level of care?
A: Above and Beyond Scheduling Services, LLC. in consultation with the client/patient and family determines the level of care based on the client/patient's illness, needs, wants, etc.
Q: What are your rates?
A: Our rates are $30/hr billed biweekly and we offer anywhere from 4-24 hr care. Payment is due at time of invoice.
Q: Why is it better to have a scheduling service versus an individual or family member?
A: Caregiving is a very physically and mentally demanding job. That is why it helps to have a team approach, working together with each member and supporting each other. When illness strikes or the weather is unpredictable it is challenge to go it alone. We are here to ease the responsibility so that the singular caregiver or family member does not soon become the patient.
